Woman (80) awarded €60,000 after social life affected by footpath trip

Anita Bryan, a passionate golfer from Somerton, Rochestown Avenue, Dún Laoghaire, sustained significant damage to her left wrist and right knee — injuries severe enough to force her to give up playing golf at her club in Woodenbridge, Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

Our lawyer, Damian Sheridan of Murphy McElligott Solicitors, successfully argued that Anita’s injuries were caused by a raised pavement slab outside Cavistons Food Emporium on Glasthule Road, Sandycove, Co. Dublin, the day before Christmas Eve in 2019.
